The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

American Cancer Society

The mission of the American Cancer Society is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

America’s Grow-a-Row

Feeding the hungry and those living in food deserts with fresh fruits and vegetables is the cornerstone of America’s Grow-a-Row. It is critical that people suffering from hunger have fresh, nutritious food as a staple of their diet.

CASA SHaW

CASA SHaW provides well-trained, trauma-informed volunteers to serve as advocates in court for children living in foster care in Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties. Its goal is to ensure that every child served has a safe, permanent home and the resources and services needed to thrive and not just survive adverse childhood experiences.

Covenant House

Covenant House is the largest, primarily privately funded charity in North and Central America providing immediate and long-term support for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking.

Gold Star Mothers

Finding strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive by working to help veterans, those currently serving in the military, their families, and our communities. Gold Star Families share a special understanding  of the pain experienced with the loss of a child. Together we offer each other support, friendship,  and a shoulder to cry on. We are here to provide a hand up when a family is struggling emotionally  or financially.

Home of Somerset County, Inc

HOME of Somerset County, Inc. provides a continuum of care for at-risk families. From emergency shelter through our housing-based programs, professional services are supplemented by a large community support network. Professional staff and volunteers provide basic services in a supportive and respectful way that stresses human dignity and empowerment.

KAT Team Foundation

KAT Team’s mission is to create a scholarship fund for young adults throughout the United States and increase literacy in underserved communities. Its goal is to promote excellence and to assist individuals who excel academically within their community achieve their career goals, an objective which has the added benefit of bettering the community at large and ensuring that KAT Team Scholars never be deprived of higher education due to lack of funds.

Ms. Foundation for Women

The mission of the Ms. Foundation for Women is to build women’s collective power in the U.S. to advance equity and justice for all. We achieve our mission by investing in, and strengthening, the capacity of women-led movements to advance meaningful social, cultural and economic change in the lives of women.

Safe + Sound Somerset

Safe+Sound Somerset provides comprehensive services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, including programs designed to provide safety, hope and healing to survivors and their children; and to educate, interrupt, and stop intimate partner violence by leveraging expertise and advocating within systems to create safe spaces for all.

Special Olympics

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
